223rd Anniversary Dinner Party

Saturday, April 28, 2012 marks the 223rd anniversary of the most infamous mutiny in history; the 1789 Mutiny on the Bounty.
Pirates of the Treasure Coast will host a fundraiser dinner party to benefit the tall ship HMS Bounty in commemoration of the 223rd anniversary of the infamous April 28th “Mutiny on the Bounty” back in 1789.
St. Augustine “The Nation’s Oldest City;” is rich in maritime history and home to the Pirate and Treasure Museum, making it the perfect location for the ship on such a historical date. The party will take place Saturday, April 28th from 7 to 9 pm aboard the HMS Bounty while she is docked at the Municipal Marina, located at 111 Avenida Menendez, near the Bridge of the Lions. Music and sea shanties performed by Nasty Nate and Logan Redwood of Rusty Cutlass and special guest Skip Henderson will set the atmosphere aboard the ship. Skip Henderson, whose music was featured in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest; is an old salt himself having sailed the world over, will be traveling from California to join us for the evening Guests will be encouraged to wear period correct or pirate costumes and mingle with pirates and re-enactors, as well as those depicting the characters' of Lt. William Bligh and Fletcher Christian. Many of the dinner and dessert items served at this fundraiser were inspired by ports the Bounty has visited. Mouthwatering selections like Bruschetta, Beef Wellington, Crab Cakes and Key Lime Pie are prime examples. All foods will be severed as “Butler Passed Hors D’oeuvres” to minimize the need to sit at a table in elaborate costume. There will also be a complementary “Open Bar” serving up a variety of cold beverages and libations to the ship’s guests.
Pre-paid reservations are required as space aboard the ship is limited.

Being that you are making a pre-paid reservation, nothing will be shipped to you; however your name will be added to the confirmed reservation list. Bring your receipt or matching photo I.D on Saturday the 28th to board the Bounty at 7pm. |

and a copy of the ship’s guest list commemorating the 223rd Anniversary of the Mutiny $200 Captain Sponsor includes one guest ticket, a copy of the ship’s guest list commemorating the 223rd Anniversary of the Mutiny, and a toast honoring you directly for your generous support of the HMS Bounty. $500 Master and Commander Sponsor includes two tickets, a copy of the ship’s guest list commemorating the 223rd Anniversary of the Mutiny, one bottle of champagne and a toast honoring you directly for your generous support of the HMS Bounty followed by a song performed in your honor.
